The Road to Los Angeles: The Rams

The move from St. Louis to Los Angeles for the organization of the Rams might not sound like a big deal but it is a very big deal for the NFL. The St. Louis Rams were one of the most unprofitable teams in the NFL. Forbes had them ranked 28th out of the 32 teams in the NFL. In the middle of January, The NFL made the decision to move the Rams to LA. Forbes change the ranking of the teams in March. The L.A. Ram were ranked 3rd on that list.

Forbes Official Release: "Rams' value shot up from $1.45 billion to $2.9 billion the minute the NFL made the move official. That also means the Rams are now the third-most valuable team in the NFL, behind only the Cowboys ($4 billion) and Patriots ($3.2 billion)". 


These numbers are absolutely staggering.The Rams owner will basically be able to print his own money once his $1.86 billion stadium complex is up and running in Inglewood, California.


The Rams have completely change the whole organization by moving to Los Angeles. The team is rebuilding but has great parts to someday compete for a Superbowl. With their new location and money put into the team, they could be put in a great position to compete shortly. This was a fantastic move for the organization and the NFL as a whole.
